James Yates is an illustrator and animator living in Brooklyn, NY.

Originally working as a matte painter and concept artist for film and TV, he brings his experience with narrative imagery to play in creating dynamic and witty compositions. From small spots to full sized animations, he loves any opportunity to capture expressive movement, eccentric characters and chaotic situations.

He also really loves drawing dogs.
